Cashmere is one of the finest natural fibres in the world and requires a little extra care and attention. After wearing your cashmere garment, you might find small balls “pills” of fibres on the surface. Pills are caused by loose fibre tangling together as areas of your garment is rubbed during wear. Pills can easily be removed by hand before washing. Gentle ironing after washing will help prevent pilling.
Store clean
Your cashmere garment should always be stored clean. A dirty garment is more likely to attract moths. If you are storing your cashmere garment for a longer period, then do so in a clean storage bag in a clean cupboard.
